In these extraordinary times all of us in the Hospitality and food production sector are having to come up with innovative ways to engage with customers. With the current lock down the only way to do this is online and then ensure that you can get product supply and have reliable delivery options.
We had been planning to phase in over the next few months products from our local Artisan food producers to our Scottish Tasting counter at our Smokehouse in Killin to supplement our Whisky Smoked Salmon and Cheese range. Events have accelerated that process and we are now happy to be able to put together Hampers featuring local produce from truly talented and dedicated chefs.
In addition to our Whisky Smoked Salmon and Cheese we include some Sourdough from the award winning Baker John Castley at www.wildhearthbakery.com. Based in Comrie John supplies many of Scotland’swell know restaurants and hotels. Our small batch Chutney is produced by Daniela from her Kitchen in Broughty Ferry. Our award-winninghandmade Artisan Chocolates are from Iain Burnett, the Highland Chocolatier, Grandtully. www.highlandchocolatier.com
Glenturret our local distillery and Scotland’s oldest havevery kindly supplied us with a few bottles of their Peated Edition, a splash of water, close your eyes and you’re on the banks of the mighty river Tay. If Champagne is your choice the family owned Taittinger Nocturne is the perfect accompaniment to your Hamper.
A big thank you to Marius and everyone at Websmart media in Pitlochry who are working tirelessly updating our online store and providing advice.
